Photography

I grew up with cameras constantly around me. My dad shot sports for his college student newspaper and took beautiful portraits of my mother, so I was a natural subject when I came around. I suppose this was where my love for photography began.

When it comes to my favorite subject, I will always be drawn to people. Everyone has a story to tell; my job is to help tell it visually. Sports photography has long been a challenging favorite of mine; looking past the obvious, there’s always a compelling narrative to be found. When all else fails, I can tell my own story–or at least, the stories of my fantasy lives. As of late, the city and objects around have become the most accessible subjects, as have animals, who are generally more comfortable getting their picture taken than their human companions.
