The dichotomy in cityscapes–the harsh architecture juxtaposed against the beauty of nature–is what makes me enjoy trying to capture them so much. And it’s always an attempt; no matter how good a photo is, it never quite lives up to what I actually saw. I suppose that, ultimately, that’s the lasting challenge of photography.
